Agapanthus africanus
Agapanthus forms clumps of strappy green leaves topped by rounded clusters of blue or white flowers in early summer. It brings a clean, upright look to borders, containers and entry beds.
- Part shade (morning sun is ideal)
- Striking summer flower heads
- Grows about 2–3 ft tall in bloom
Care: Water regularly during the growing season. It is borderline hardy in North Texas, so mulch well or grow in containers that can be moved in during hard freezes.
