Allamanda cathartica
A tropical shrubby vine with glossy leaves and large golden-yellow trumpet flowers all summer. It adds bold color to patios, trellises and pots. The sap is irritating and toxic.
- Full sun
- Large yellow summer flowers
- Grows about 4–8 ft in a season
Care: Regular water and feeding. Not reliably hardy in DFW; grow in a container you can bring in for winter, or treat as a seasonal plant.
