Ficus carica 'Mission'
Black Mission Fig is a top-quality fig variety with roots in the Mediterranean and southwest Asia, first brought to the U.S. by Franciscan missionaries in San Diego. Beyond its sweet, nutritious fruit, it is an attractive tree with bold green leaves that cast dense shade. It works as both a backyard fruit tree and an ornamental.
