Leucophyllum frutescens
Blue Texas Ranger is a native evergreen shrub with soft, silvery-gray foliage and light to deep purple tubular flowers on and off from spring into fall. In the wild it grows on hillsides, ravines and slopes, so it is used to tough conditions. Plant it in a row for a hedge that can be trimmed, or on its own as a featured shrub.
