Opuntia microdasys 'Bunny Ears'
Bunny Ears Prickly Pear gets its name from flat pads that sprout in pairs and look like rabbit ears. From spring into summer it bears yellow or yellow-and-red blooms that become fruit ripening from purple to red. It grows at a moderate pace to about three feet tall and three to four feet wide, making it a fun accent for desert gardens and pots.
- Playful paired-pad shape
- Spring and summer blooms
- Drought tolerant
