Loropetalum chinense
Chinese Fringe Flower is an evergreen shrub named for its narrow, ribbon-like petals that give the blooms a fringed look. Deep green leaves set off a heavy show of pink flowers in early spring, and other varieties offer different leaf and bloom colors. Plant several together for a colorful hedge or screen, or use them along the foundation.
