Distylium hybrids
Distylium is a tough evergreen shrub with neat, leathery leaves and a graceful, spreading habit. It is a dependable low-care alternative to Indian hawthorn and boxwood for foundations, borders and low hedges, with few pest or disease problems.
- Full sun to part shade
- Evergreen, new growth often tinted red or bronze
- Grows about 3–5 ft tall and wide depending on variety
- Varieties: Bluescape, Cinnamon Girl, Coppertone
Care: Water regularly the first year, then it handles heat and dry spells well. Shear lightly if needed; cold hardy in North Texas.

What if a plant arrives damaged?
Report damaged or dead-on-arrival plants within 48 hours of delivery and we replace them. All sales are final once your signed quote is approved.
