Ilex cultivars and hybrids
Hollies are some of the toughest evergreens for North Texas, with glossy foliage and red berries on many varieties in winter. This group includes tall pyramidal screening hollies like Foster and Skyline, red-berried hybrids, and compact forms such as Micron and dwarf yaupon for low hedges.
- Full sun to part shade
- Evergreen, many with winter berries
- Size varies from about 3 ft to 25 ft tall
- Varieties: Foster, Skyline, Christmas Jewel, Golden Oakland, Robin, Crown Point, Monarch, Screen Play, Skyward, Micron, Eureka Gold Dwarf Yaupon, Mary Nell
Care: Water deeply during establishment and summer dry spells. Prune in late winter to shape; cold hardy in North Texas.

What if a plant arrives damaged?
Report damaged or dead-on-arrival plants within 48 hours of delivery and we replace them. All sales are final once your signed quote is approved.
