Salvia × sylvestris 'Mainacht' (May Night)
May Night salvia sends up dense spikes of deep violet-blue flowers above a clump of green leaves. Its main show is in spring, and it is a good companion for perennial borders and pollinator beds.

- Grows about 18–24 in. tall and wide
Care: Give average water and good drainage. Cut spent spikes to encourage more flowers; it is hardy in DFW.
