Dietes iridioides
Moraea Iris, sold under the names Butterfly Iris and African Iris, is a South African perennial with evergreen, blade-shaped leaves and delicate orchid-like flowers in white, lavender or soft yellow. Each flower lasts a single day, but new ones keep opening all through the warm season. Clumps reach roughly 2 to 3 feet in height and look graceful in borders, flower beds and water-wise plantings.
