Bignonia capreolata 'Shalimar Red'
A selection of our native crossvine with clusters of red trumpet flowers in spring that hummingbirds love. The vine climbs fences, walls and arbors on its own with clinging tendrils and stays mostly evergreen in North Texas.
- Full sun to part shade
- Texas-native vine, attracts hummingbirds
- Climbs 20–30 ft with support
Care: Drought tolerant once established. Trim after spring bloom to keep it in bounds; cold hardy in North Texas.
