Fargesia rufa 'Sunset Glow'
This clumping bamboo forms a tidy fountain of fine green leaves with reddish-orange leaf sheaths on the canes. Because it does not run, it is a safe choice for a soft screen or accent in smaller yards.
- Part shade; protect from afternoon sun
- Non-invasive clumping habit
- Grows about 6–8 ft tall and 3–5 ft wide
Care: Keep soil evenly moist and give shade from hot afternoon sun in North Texas. Very cold hardy.
