Aloysia virgata
Sweet almond verbena is a large shrub with long spikes of tiny white flowers that smell of almond and honey. It blooms in waves from summer to fall and is a favorite of butterflies and bees.
- Full sun
- Very fragrant flowers
- Grows about 6–10 ft tall
Care: Drought tolerant once established. A hard freeze can knock it back to the ground, but it usually regrows in spring; prune in late winter.
