Rose banksiae 'Lutea'
This thornless climber covers itself in masses of small, double, buttery-yellow flowers during early and mid-spring. The blooms carry a light, sweet scent and can last for several weeks. Its long, arching canes are perfect for training over an arbor, fence, trellis or pergola for an old-fashioned garden look.
- No thorns, so it is easy to handle near walkways
- Low upkeep and resists disease
- Best in full sun with well-drained soil
