Pennisetum alopecuroides cultivars
Hardy fountain grass forms arching mounds topped with bottlebrush-like plumes in late summer. Red Head has large dark purple-red plumes; Little Bunny is a true miniature with fluffy cream plumes, ideal for edging and containers.
- Full sun to light shade
- Soft plumes summer into fall
- Grows about 1–4 ft tall depending on variety

Care: Water during dry spells. Cut back to a few inches above the ground in late winter before new growth starts.
