Lirriope gigantea
Giant Lily Turf, sometimes sold as Giant Liriope, grows as a hardy East Asian perennial with wide, dark green, grass-like leaves that arch into clumps reaching around 2 feet. Late in summer and early fall, tall stalks of violet to lavender flowers rise above the foliage, followed by small black berries. It works well for borders, ground cover and even containers.
- Grows in sun or shade
- Very low maintenance
- Bold, grassy texture all year
