Hibiscus moscheutos
Hardy hibiscus produces huge, dinner-plate flowers in red, pink or white from midsummer into fall. It makes a bold statement in borders, rain gardens and near patios.
- Full sun
- Very large summer flowers
- Grows about 3–5 ft tall
Care: Keep well watered; it likes moist soil. It dies to the ground in winter and is slow to return, often not until May; hardy in DFW.
