Prunus armeniaca 'Moorpark'
An old favorite apricot known for large, sweet, richly flavored orange fruit with a red blush. Pale pink blossoms open in late winter or early spring, making it a pretty and useful backyard fruit tree for a sunny North Texas yard.
- Full sun
- Self-fruitful, large flavorful fruit
- Grows about 15–20 ft tall and wide
Care: Plant in well-drained soil and water deeply during dry spells. Prune in late winter; early blooms can be nipped by late freezes, so a spot with good air flow helps.
