Muhlenbergia reverchonii and M. capillaris cultivars
Muhly grasses form tidy fountains of fine leaves and then light up in fall with clouds of pink to ruby-red seed heads. They are tough, heat-loving grasses for borders, slopes and mass plantings across North Texas.

- Showy fall plumes, very drought tolerant
- Grows about 2–3 ft tall and wide
- Varieties: Ruby Muhly, Plumetastic Pink
Care: Needs well-drained soil and little water once established. Cut back to a few inches above the ground in late winter before new growth starts.
