Muhlenbergia capillaris
Pink Muhly is a clumping native grass with fine green blades that turns into a soft pink haze when its feathery plumes open from late summer into fall. Mature clumps run about two to three feet tall and wide, and the blooms sway with every breeze. Plant it in groups along borders, slopes, or natural-style beds for a big seasonal show with very little upkeep.
- Loves full sun and fast-draining soil
- Low maintenance once settled in
- Fall color and movement for borders and mass plantings
