Salvia yangii (syn. Perovskia atriplicifolia)
Russian sage has silvery, aromatic stems topped with airy sprays of lavender-blue flowers in summer and fall. It handles heat and dry soil well and softens sunny borders and xeriscapes.

- Drought and deer resistant
- Grows about 3–4 ft tall and wide
Care: Plant in well-drained soil and avoid overwatering. Cut stems back to about 6–12 in. in late winter; it is fully hardy in North Texas.
