Lantana urticoides
Texas lantana is a native shrub with clusters of orange and yellow flowers that draw butterflies all summer. It is tough, heat loving and a good fit for low-water beds and wildlife gardens in North Texas.
- Full sun
- Native and drought tolerant
- Grows about 3–5 ft tall and wide
Care: Water deeply but infrequently once established. It dies back in winter; cut it down in late winter and it returns from the roots in spring.
