Dasylirion quadrangulatum
Toothless Desert Spoon is a sculptural plant from the Southwest and northern Mexico with a slender trunk and a dense ball of long, narrow, sword-like leaves. Unlike many relatives, its leaf edges are smooth instead of toothed, so it is easier to plant near paths. It brings strong, modern lines to desert gardens, courtyards, and gravel beds.
- Smooth leaf edges, friendlier near walkways
- Very drought tolerant
- Architectural focal point
