Vitex agnus-castus cultivars
Small multi-trunk trees with aromatic leaves and long spikes of blue-purple flowers through summer that draw bees and butterflies. A heat-loving, low-water alternative to crape myrtle in North Texas.

- Grows about 10–15 ft tall and wide
- Varieties: Delta Blues, Flip Side, Shoal Creek
Care: Very drought tolerant once established; needs good drainage. Prune in late winter. Cold hardy in North Texas.
