Callistemon 'Woodlanders Hardy Red'
This bottlebrush is one of the more cold-tolerant selections, with bright red brush-like flowers that attract hummingbirds in spring and again through the warm season. Narrow evergreen leaves make it useful as an accent or informal screen.
- Full sun
- Red flowers, attracts hummingbirds
- Grows about 6–8 ft tall and wide
Care: Plant in well-drained soil and water deeply during dry spells. Plant in a sheltered spot in North Texas; severe freezes can damage top growth.
